Cafe Tahbella – Oxenford

I have to be truthful dear reader, I nearly didn’t go into this cafe, when I arrived I was going to text the girls and say lets just go to Terrarium…. as it really doesn’t look much from the outside. But as they say, you can’t judge a book by its cover. When you walk in there is an unexpected surprise. Lovely soft and comfortable booths along the wall, cute decor and as the cafe suggests, very family friendly. Oh and an extra tick of free wi-fi.

Cafe Tahbella – Food for Families is situated in a row of shops at Oxenford, if you were not a local, or weren’t looking for it, you could miss it, but don’t! 11/3 Cottonwood Place is a little gem. I can’t describe it really. The coffee is not amazing, but it tastes good, using segafredo brand. It just has this wonderful feel about it. The staff are really friendly (the owners were working the day I was there) and it feels like this cafe was put together with love! After having a chat with the owners, it is! The cafe is named after the owners two beautiful girls Annabella and Tahlia, who have their photos on the wall and their hand prints on the cafe’s design.

Simone said her skinny hot chocolate was yummy and the right temperature, not too rich and fluffy on top.

Tanya’s Muggacino was also very good, just the right temp and not too strong (as she asked for a single shot).

Do you have a local coffee shop that gives you a free coffee? Would you go out of your way to go to a coffee shop, just because they are nice and give you good service?

Thanks for reading, I always love hearing from you.
